Seth Kemp rides to 18th in junior men's XC on day 3 of MTB Worlds
The 2010 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships continued on Friday with the junior men's cross country race, U23 men's cross country race, and the elite men's and women's four-cross competitions. Seth Kemp had a super-impressive ride, taking 18th place among the junior men. In the U23 event, Robbie Squire was the highest placed American in 31st, and in the four-cross, Barry Nobles put on quite a show and rode to seventh place.

Tour de l'Avenir draws world's top U23 talent to France
The USA Cycling National Development Program will field six of the country's top under-23 talent at the upcoming Tour de l'Avenir. The group, who have logged hundreds of days of European race experience with USA Cycling's NDP between them, should be among the favorites to win the Tour of the Future, the U23 equivalent of the Tour de France.

Masters Track Nationals back on schedule after 12 titles on Thurs
After inclement weather forced delay well into the afternoon the 2010 Richardson Bike Mart USA Cycling Masters Track National Championships continued on Thursday, awarding 12 national titles at the Superdrome in Frisco, Texas. After an extremely late night filled with time trials, points races and sprints, all events are back on schedule for Friday.

13 Stars-and-Stripes awarded on day one of Masters Track Nationals
The 2010 Richardson Bike Mart USA Cycling Masters Track National Championships got underway on Wednesday, awarding 13 Stars-and-Stripes on Wednesday before the Texas skies opened up to a torrential suspending the evening session. All competition will resume in order on Thursday morning at 8:00 a.m. at the Superdrome.

Mountain Bike Worlds open with team relay and junior women's XC
The 2010 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships kicked off on Wednesday with Todd Wells, Rob Squire, Seth Kemp, and Katie Compton placing the U.S. ninth in the team relay and junior rider Essence Barton riding to 13th place in the junior womenandrsquo;s cross country event.

DEVELOPMENT WRAP: Road and MTB athletes busy around the world
A new group of junior road cyclists recently completed a trio of kermesses in Belgium while their off-road counterparts raced against world-class fields at the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup finale. U23 rider Andrew Talansky was second in a stage of Valle de Aosta last week. On the women's side of USA Cycling's development initiatives, a team of six young women just completed the Classica Citta di Padova and are now racing in the Holland Ladies Tour in the Netherlands.

Richardson Bike Mart Masters Track Nats underway on Wednesday
The Richardson Bike Mart USA Cycling Masters Track National Championships will go off September 1-5 at the Superdome in Frisco, Texas. The two- and -three kilometer time trial events will kick things off on Wednesday. In all more than 250 masters track athletes will compete for the right to wear the Stars-and-Stripes signifying the country's best.

NRC team titles decided at Chris Thater
Although Catherine Cheatley and Luis Amaran all but had the USA Cycling National Racing Calendar 2010 individual titles in the bag heading into the final event, their teams were still fighting for every point. The Fly V Australia men's squad pulled out all the stops at the Chris Thater Memorial, finishing one-and-two to lock down the men's team title. Cheatley finished second to help earn the overall women's title for the Colavita/Baci p/b Cooking Light ladies.
