Location for 2013 and 2014 MTB Gravity Nationals announced
The location for the USA Cycling Mountain Bike Gravity National Championships in 2013 and 2014 is the Angel Fire Bike Park in Angel Fire, N.M., USA Cycling announced. The exact dates of the 2013 and 2014 events will be announced at a later date.

516 national champions crowned in 2011
The first of 17 of this yearandrsquo;s USA Cycling National Championships went into the books last month. As we gear up for the rest of 2012, letandrsquo;s take a look back at 2011! Last year, USA Cycling members raced for national titles at 16 national championship events in various locations across the United States. Additionally, two national championship events were held for para-cycling athletes. In all, American cyclists took home 516 national championship titles. These national champions represent the best of the best across all disciplines and categories of cycling. Congratulations to all of our 2011 national champions! Greenville, SC selected to host 2014 UCI Para-cycling Road Worlds
The world governing body of professional cycling Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) selected Greenville, S.C. to host the UCI Para-Cycling Road World Championships in September 2014. This event is projected to include more than 450 athletes and 200 coaches and staff from over 45 countries. The Para-Cycling Road World Championships have not been hosted by an American city since Colorado Springs, Colo. in 1998.

Compton battles to fifth at Cross Worlds; Trebon 18th
Two-time world championship medalist Katie Compton surged to take fifth place in the elite womenandrsquo;s contest at the 2012 UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships in Koksijde, Belgium on Sunday. Ryan Trebon powered through the sand dunes of coastal Belgium to finish 18th as the Belgians recorded a record top-seven sweep.

Three American youngsters in top 20 at Cyclo-cross Worlds
Zach McDonald gave the U.S. its top finish with a 12th-place result in the U23 menandrsquo;s event on the opening day of the 2012 UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships in Koksijde, Belgium on Saturday. Two American juniors, Andrew Dillman and Logan Owen also landed inside the top 20 to contribute to a respectable American showing on the sandy Koksijde course.

USA Cycling awards $20,000 in grants to 2011 Centers of Excellence
Each year, USA Cycling recognizes outstanding cycling programs with cash grants through the USA Cycling Development Foundation Centers of Excellence program.

Congrats to the 13 officials who graduated to Level A this month!
Last weekend, 13 USA Cycling officials graduated from level B to level A after attending a Level A Clinic taught by USA Cycling International Commissaire, Phil Miller in Austin, Texas.
