Fizik Antares Bike Saddle Review
The Fizik Antares has 300% more padding and 50% more flat sitting area than compared to other competitors in the ultra-lightweight bike saddle category. Antares is the latest and third "A" in the Fizik road range product line, between Arione and Aliante bike saddles. It is also considered the "third dimension". Antares embodies all essential Fizik elements: comfort, flexibility, and lightness. Fizik meets all the needs of road riders with the Arione, Aliante, and now the Antares bike saddle. The Antares has a similar amount of padding to the Aliante but rides flatter like the Arione. Pressure points are minimized by the carbon infused Rilsan shell flexing evenly along the entire length and width of the saddle. Shorter than the Arione and longer that the Aliante, the Antares is the same width as the Aliante at 142mm. The K:ium rails are 8% lighter than Titanium and have a greater strength to weight ratio.
